Timna Park: A Visual 3D Model of Solomon’s Pillars
This project by Idan Saidi uses aerial photographs and photogrammetry to present the rock formations of Solomon’s Pillars in three dimensions. The emphasis is on the appearance of the landscape, rock textures and virtual exploration.
The model is a visual representation. Its measurement accuracy has not been independently verified; surveying, geological measurements and climbing decisions require separate field data and appropriate checks.
